FRIENDLY GATHERING ON GREECE FOR THE STUDENTS

 of ASAHI CULTURE CENTER

On November 10^th, a very friendly gathering was organized at the residence of the Greek Ambassador in Tokyo Mr. Kyriakos Rodoussakis in which about 40 members of the Asahi Culture Center participated. Asahi Culture Center is very well known for the promotion and teaching on various cultures including the Modern Greek language. During the reception, a number of films and videos were shown on Modern Greek life and a video on the Athens 2004 Olympic Games. The Greek Ambassador Mr. Rodoussakis presented a lot of aspects on Greek life and history and replied to a lot of questions asked by the participants. During the reception it was ascertained once more that the members of the Asahi Culture Center have great interest and enthusiasm in Greece and its cultural heritage. Greek home made snacks and sweets were offered after the meeting.
