FOODEX 2004

 

Greece participated in FOODEX 2004 with 19 companies. The exhibits of the Greek pavilion where wine, olive oil, olives, canned peaches, fruit cocktails, frozen fruits, honey, coffee, cheese, herbal tea, dried fruits and nuts, salt, ouzo, distillates, sauces, mineral water, Greek specialties, roast peppers, pickles, antipasti and sun dried tomatoes.         

Greece participated in the International Food Hall of FOOD EX 2004 by organizing a

seminar on Greek olive oil on March 10, 2004. The main speaker was Mr. Bartholomew

Seiradakis, olive oil specialist. 

On March 11, 2004, a wine tasting and seminar was also organized in the framework of the FOODEX World Wine Seminar. The presentation was done by Mr. Ned Goodwin, Sommelier and Mr. Fotios Tziolis, wine specialist and writer of the Japanese book "Greek Wine".

 

The Greek participation in FOODEX and the seminars were organized by the Hellenic Foreign Trade Board with the support of the Greek Embassy.
